“I can’t believe I gave Mike a hand job. I feel so weird.” Casey hugged herself. Her mother, who was a very religious Mexican woman, parted the curtains in an upstairs bedroom and stared down at us. Casey looked at her and shrugged obnoxiously. I could practically hear her sigh as she flicked off the light and went to bed. “It’s like one day I was this naïve child, and then the next day I have some guy’s come all over my Biology homework.”
