I finally opened this book since receiving it for my birthday in October. Last night, with my fiance sleeping quietly to my right and our dog snoring as he warmed my feet, I was relieved that I finally had time to read something without having to write an eight page essay in reflection. I really hate nights like this. I haven’t been sleeping well lately and I had hoped to read just enough so that my eyes became heavy and I could regain some control over my sleep schedule. A dream denied. After 35 pages, I realized that it was nearly 4:30 in the morning and this book was much too interesting and revealing and wonderful for me to sleep. I really love nights like this.
(reading and sobbing)
Looks interesting, what’s it about?
